First ride with the folks from Velocity Cycles. Sold to me as a 'casual' get-together, turns out there are some faster people on peddles out there. Thanks to Michelle (who fitted E to her Specialized Amira Comp last year) for leading the ride and for keeping the straggler (me) company when he fell off of the back.
Thankfully, she was able to bring me back to the group after it had splintered in two and I was able to (somehow) pace with the 'retired' crowd on their hefty, steel mounts. What a great bunch of folks.
Ellen, I like my new shoes. I want to trade in my Sidi's for another pair of white ones. Also, Ellen, I'd like another bike, one to 'train' and commute on. Can you help me out with this? Thanks in advance.
Dayna, you're going to love the group rides. I hope Roland can come too. His Olmo will win kudos to those folks rocking the triple butted retro mount!!!
